There were many signs of this as Kobe tightly guarded and bumped his man every time on defense while giving that glare in the face. Kobe had dropped 19 pounds. Even despite getting too competitive Kobe played a very team oriented 26 points while playing 33 minutes. In the final moments after letting Melo and Durant chip away from another 10 point lead, Kobe tied the game at 101 with a minute to play. Kobe then made another fadeaway over Lebron to take the lead. Chris Bosh made 1 of 2 free throws setting the stage for Bryant. With over 20 seconds left Kobe dribbled the clock down with an elite defender Tayshaun Prince guarding him.
